GLP-1 treatment & side effects tracker

Keep your Mounjaro or Wegovy injection plan, doses, injection sites and side effects together — with a weekly calendar reminder if you want one.

Your records are saved in this browser by default. They are not added to the PrimeLife website database or your clinical record.

This takes less than a minute. You can change future planned doses or dates later.

Where are you in treatment?

Important: This is a personal organisation and symptom-recording tool, not a dosing decision tool or medical device. It cannot diagnose side effects, assess whether treatment is suitable for you, or replace advice from your prescriber, pharmacist, NHS 111 or emergency services.

Mounjaro & Wegovy GLP-1 Tracker

Keeping track of weekly weight-loss injections can become surprisingly difficult, particularly as doses change or treatment is delayed. The PrimeLife Mounjaro and Wegovy tracker is designed to make this easier.

You can use the tracker to record your injections, see your next planned doses, monitor side effects, add an injection-day reminder to your calendar and view an estimated medication-level chart showing how weekly doses may build and decline over time.

The tracker supports Mounjaro (tirzepatide) and Wegovy (semaglutide). It is an organisational tool and does not replace your prescription, the instructions supplied with your medicine or advice from your prescriber.

What can the Mounjaro and Wegovy tracker do?

The tracker brings several parts of weekly GLP-1 treatment together in one place. You can:

  • record each Mounjaro or Wegovy injection;
  • see your next planned injections and doses;
  • record the injection site;
  • change future planned dates or doses to match instructions from your prescriber;
  • record delayed or missed doses;
  • track common side effects and their severity;
  • view recent side-effect patterns;
  • view an estimated medication-level chart based on recorded and planned injections;
  • compare planned treatment with how the estimated level would fall if no further doses were taken;
  • edit future doses and dates to see how changes affect the projected medication-level pattern;
  • add a weekly injection reminder to your calendar;
  • store your information in your browser;
  • optionally back up your tracker using Google Drive; and
  • export your records as a CSV file.

Using the tracker if you are starting treatment

If you are about to start Mounjaro or Wegovy, choose your medicine and enter the date of your first injection. The tracker will create a weekly treatment plan based on the usual licensed dosing pathway.

This does not mean that you should automatically increase your dose when the tracker shows the next step. Dose increases should only take place in line with your prescription and the advice you have been given by your prescriber.

Using the tracker if you already take Mounjaro or Wegovy

You do not need to start from week one. Select that you are already taking treatment and enter your current dose and recent injection information. The tracker will use this to build your ongoing plan.

How does the estimated medication-level chart work?

Mounjaro and Wegovy remain in the body for several days after an injection. This means that when the next weekly dose is taken, some medicine from earlier doses may still be present. With repeated dosing, the amount in the body builds towards a more stable repeating pattern.

The PrimeLife tracker uses a population-average pharmacokinetic model to illustrate this process. The chart uses injections you have recorded and your planned future doses to show how the medication level may rise after each injection and then fall between doses.

Different dose strengths are shown in different colours, making it easier to see where a treatment plan changes from one strength to another. The chart can also show the estimated decline from your current position if no further doses were taken.

You can view the previous 12 weeks, the next 12 weeks or the full treatment plan. Future planned doses can be expanded and edited, allowing you to see how a change in dose or timing alters the projected pattern.

This chart does not predict appetite suppression, side effects or treatment effectiveness. It is an estimate based on population pharmacokinetic information, not a measurement of the amount of medicine in your blood. Individual medication levels can differ from the model.

If you are already taking Mounjaro or Wegovy when you first set up the tracker, earlier injections that have not been entered are not invented or assumed. The first part of the chart may therefore underestimate the medication already present until more of your own treatment history has been recorded.

Injection-day reminders

The tracker can create a repeating reminder in your own calendar. You can choose to be reminded on injection day, the day before, or both.

Because the reminder is stored in your calendar, it can alert you even when the PrimeLife website is closed.

If you later change your usual injection day, remember that an existing calendar event may also need to be changed or replaced.

What if I miss a Mounjaro injection?

Current UK product information states that a missed dose of Mounjaro can be taken as soon as possible within 4 days of the missed dose.

If more than 4 days have passed, the missed dose should be skipped and the next dose taken on the usual scheduled day. You should not take a double dose to make up for a missed dose.

What if I miss a Wegovy injection?

Current UK product information states that a missed dose of Wegovy can be taken as soon as possible within 5 days of the missed dose.

If more than 5 days have passed, the missed dose should be skipped and the next dose taken on the usual scheduled day. If more doses have been missed, speak to your prescriber because restarting treatment may need to be considered.

Your own prescription and the instructions from your prescriber should always take priority.

Tracking side effects

Side effects can vary from person to person and may also change as treatment progresses. Keeping a simple record can help you describe what has been happening if you need to speak to your pharmacist, prescriber or another healthcare professional.

The tracker allows you to record symptoms including nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, constipation, indigestion or reflux, abdominal discomfort, headache, fatigue, dizziness and injection-site reactions. Symptoms can be recorded as mild, moderate or severe.

The MHRA advises that gastrointestinal effects such as nausea, vomiting and diarrhoea are among the common side effects associated with GLP-1 medicines. Significant vomiting or diarrhoea can also lead to dehydration.

When should I seek urgent medical advice?

Seek urgent medical attention if you develop severe, persistent abdominal pain, particularly if the pain spreads to your back or occurs with nausea or vomiting.

The MHRA has strengthened warnings about the risk of acute pancreatitis with GLP-1 and GLP-1/GIP medicines. Acute pancreatitis is uncommon, but it can be serious.

If you are concerned about symptoms, use NHS 111 online or seek appropriate urgent medical advice. Suspected side effects can also be reported through the MHRA Yellow Card Scheme.

Where is my tracker information stored?

The standalone tracker stores your treatment information locally in your browser.

You can optionally connect Google Drive to keep a private backup in your own Google account. This uses Google’s private application-data area rather than creating a normal document in your visible Drive folders.

You can also export your records as a CSV file or clear the stored tracker data.

Is this a Mounjaro tracker app?

The PrimeLife tracker works through your web browser rather than requiring an App Store or Google Play download. It can be used on a phone, tablet or computer.

This also means you can use the same tool for both Mounjaro and Wegovy rather than needing separate injection-tracking apps.

Is the medication-level chart a blood-level measurement?

No. The chart is a population-average estimate designed to illustrate how repeated weekly doses can accumulate and decline over time. It does not measure your individual blood concentration and should not be used to judge how well treatment is working or whether you should change your dose.

Does the tracker tell me when to increase my dose?

No. The tracker can organise the usual licensed treatment pathway and display upcoming planned doses, but it does not decide when you personally should increase, reduce, stop or restart treatment.

Always follow your prescription and the instructions from your prescriber.
